Stephanie and Les endeavour to make their Mevagissey 17th century home Trewinney Farmhouse, as welcoming as possible, offering you all the comforts you may need, to create that home from home feel.

If a rural setting is a change for you, waking up at Trewinney will be a special treat. You will almost certainly wake to the morning song, from the many birds which visit our garden every day of the year, whilst enjoying the superb sea views, from the comfort of your bedroom.

Views from the bathroom window however, offer something very different. Looking out over the back lawn, orchard & fields, you will hopefully see the early morning antics of the chickens, geese and ducks calling to one another on the lawn, or Nutmeg our pygmy goat mothering his little flock of feathered friends!!!

Night-time brings along other creature delights! The orchard is a haven for our little black bats and on clear, dry nights,when the Barn Owls fly, you may be lucky enough to hear and see them flying low across the fields from your bedroom window.

Getting There: Approach St Austell from either the A30 or the A38 and make for the A390. At a twin roundabout, with McDonalds on one side and a Texaco Garage on the other, take the B3273 to Mevagissey. Follow the road for approx. four miles, passing through London Apprentice, until you see the sea & Pentewan Sands Camp site on your left hand side. Carry on past the campsite and proceed up the hill. At the top there is a cross roads… turn left. There is a slight rise in front of you. Once over the brow, you will approach a small "drive-over" roundabout. 10 meters before the roundabout, there is an unmade track on the left hand side. This is the entrance to Trewinney Farmhouse… Look for the sign. On arrival, park in the cul-de-sac between the out buildings.
