Excellent luxury accommodation Review July 11, 11 TRIPADVISOR Stayed in the Rainforest Villa with my husband and 3yr old daughter for 2 weeks when we came to Darwin for a family wedding. We loved the attention to detail Chilled champagne on arrival was most welcome. There is everything even a coffee machine, dishwasher, laundry, microwave etc. The villas are very quiet,peaceful & very relaxing The outside sitting area was lovely. A friendly possum would visit our deck at nights, which my daughter loved. The bed was the most comfortable king ever. All in all had a great time and we would highly recommend! The Movie Australia can be lived in Darwin. See why Nicole Kidman loves the colour of the sea.. Moonshadow is very close to some fantastic attractions, including Mindl Beach Sunset Markets, the historical 1900's Botanic Gardens with some heritage tropical specimens, walking distance to the city and Golf at the bottom of the hill.. We accept bank deposits & credit cards for payment. If you like frequent flyers by using credit cards please note we do pass on a merchant surcharge. This is on your invoice. As Moonshadow is residential accommodation not a hotel we do not charge GST

Moonshadow Villlas are an easy stroll to the famous Mindl Beach Sunset Markets, The Darwin Golf Course and the beautiful Botanical Gardens A shuttle bus for $4 A taxi for $6 or a 10 minute easy grade walk takes you to the city and the Darwin Convention Centre. It is hard to imagine such a stunning retreat so close to a thriving city. Peace and privacy but with everything very close and handy.

For those who are Nicole Kidman fans, and want to experience movie scenes from Australia the movie themselves, Moonshadow is set in the same rainforest that was strafed and bombed during World War 2. Now a perfect venue for a private stress free time, a wonderful bonding time with family and friends or superb for a special event. If you have naughty knees, Moonshadow Villas can offer a villa which has limited steps and easy access to bathrooms and verandahs. Moonshadow is the proud winner of the many architectural awards for the Royal Institute of Architects for Multi-Residential properties, People's Choice and Burnett Prize for Tropical Architecture. It also won the HIA/TCA prize for building excellence and residential buildings for tropical climates.
