Bespoke is already promising to make a reputation as one of Brisbane's most stylish restaurants.
Chef and owner Robert Davis has given Brisbane an establishment as classy as any Parisian eatery with a plush interior of suede and silk banquettes and polished bamboo tables, while a colour scheme of bronze, green and charcoal combines with a touch of stainless steel for a contemporary look.
Davis's open kitchen produces beautifully presented modern Australian dishes with a controlled balance of flavours, and the menu promises to change frequently to accommodate seasonal produce.
Complimentary tasters precede each course and change regularly, but the duck consomme is a staple and already a favourite. If you have any room after Davis's generous serves, the cheese list is full of carefully selected produce from France, Italy, Germany and Corsica - a perfect finish to the meal when matched with a glass from the extensive wine list.
