Getting There: The Grampians region is approximately three hours from Melbourne. To reach the Grampians from Melbourne, follow the Western Highway through Ballarat and Ararat which will start your trip along 'The Inland Way 8' a network of driving tours that connect much of the Grampians Region. V/Line offers daily transport of both rail direct and train/coach changeover services to the Grampians Region out of the Melbourne CBD at Spencer Street Station.
