Built in the 14th century to accommodate Stonemasons who were building the town's Church, The Eight Bells Inn is Chipping Campden's oldest surviving Inn featuring a wealth of original features, including open fires, oak beams and exposed Cotswold stone walls providing a real experience whether just having a drink, or enjoying great food.
Eight Bells was then used to store the Bells' for the church tower, hence its name. In keeping with its history, you are now able to experience Eight Bells for yourself, staying in one of the en-suite, ETB 4 diamond-rated guest rooms.
Surrounded by a wealth of beautiful walks and historic places to visit, Eight Bells is quietly situated just 50 metres off Chipping Campden's historic High Street, Eight Bells is the ideal hostelry for the discerning visitor or business traveller, and is close to all amenities and places of interest within the town. There is a non-smoking policy throughout, though there is an outside smoking area.
