Quartier Vert (QV), the restaurant, was born out of a desire to return to European traditions: simple cooking using local, organic ingredients. Our business has since grown to include a cookery school, a bakery and catering. Our philosophy is simple. Good food depends on good cooking. Good cooking depends on good produce. Good produce depends on good agricultural practices. QV puts real food and real values back on the menu of everyday life.
At QV we've always bought fresh, local, organic food. We don't consider it an add on. It is at the heart of what we do. We combine the best ingredients to create provincial European recipes that allow you to savour their flavour, texture, temperature and flavour. In our warm, friendly environment nothing is allowed to get in the way of you enjoying yourself.
QV has an extensive wine list containing over 80 wines from around the world. Our list is updated every three to four months. For a copy of our current list please contact us. At QV, we try to select wines that compliment the style of our food as well our ethos. Each week, we pick a wine, which is drinking well or is a must with one of our dishes or getting some really good press or all three.
