The Surveyors Hill Winery is a multi award-winning estate at Wallaroo (near Hall), just 20 minutes from the city of Canberra. This historic property offers excellent wines, dining and accommodation in the beautiful Murrumbidgee Valley.
Surveyors Hill Winery produces a diverse range of wines, including Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Touriga and Shiraz. All wines at Surveyors Hill are produced from the grapes grown on the property. Surveyors Hill Winery also offers olives, free-range eggs, jams and curry pastes.
The Surveyors Hill Winery is situated on the slopes of the ancient Surveyors Hill volcano, which was active more than 350 million years ago. The rich fertile soils, combined with the idyllic climate (similar to that of central Spain) help produce the premium quality grapes the vineyard is known for.
