Discovery Carp

Run by Dave Ayres, a Carp angler for over 30 years, Discovery Carp offers two locations of quality carp fishing. Using his knowledge and experience, Dave set up a 6 acre lake in the Champagne region of France and a highly regarded and picturesque fishery set in the tranquil countryside of the beautiful Cotswolds, 3 miles from Stow-on-the-Wold.

Etang de Baspier is the French fishing lake and unlike some other English run French waters, where you don't know who you will be fishing next to, Dave's idea is to offer smaller more intimate waters which can be exclusively booked by a minimum of just you and a friend, thus ensuring you know the anglers you are fishing the lake with.

The Cotswolds offers Chad Lakes, with Home Pool, an exclusive 10-man syndicate, well stocked with carp to 43lbs 12oz and Chad Pool, a day ticket fishery, 7am - 9pm, offering anglers the opportunity to catch roach over 2lbs, perch over 3lbs and carp over 30lbs. Night fishing is strictly by appointment only.
