Regent's Park is the largest grass area for sports in Central London and houses a variety of activities, as well as an Open Air Theatre, the London Zoo, the Hub sports pavilion and many cafes and restaurants.
The park encompasses 410 acres, with over 30,000 roses, wildflower grassland areas, secluded woodland, wetland and reedbeds and 100 acres dedicated to sports. The management of the park focuses around the conservation and enhancement of biodiversity.
The Boathouse located on the boating lake, Hanover Gate is a large family restaurant open throughout the year, with boats available for hire. The Tennis Centre located at York Bridge offers tennis coaching for all ages and houses a licensed café.
The Cow and Coffee Bean on the Broadwalk at Chester Road serves farm made ice-creams and shakes and organic and fair trade produce. Dairy ices are available at various locations throughout the park.
