Local Area: Apart from being steeped in history, Stratford-upon-Avon boasts a fantastic shopping, dining and entertainment experience.
Further Information: The hills of the Cotswolds of Gloucestershire start just south of Stratford with Chipping Campden, an historic major town. This is the old market town, where woollen merchants traded for hundreds of years. Unaffected by the industrial revolution, you can enjoy old England as it was since the 1700's. The Cotswolds are famous for the honey-blond stone buildings. The whole town of Chipping Campden is built of it, and is a typical example of the entire district.
