The Baltic Wharf Caravan Club is a waterside site, right in the heart of Bristol's beautifully re-developed dockland, linked all year by a river ferry to the city centre, with its lively shops and entertainments.
The Industrial Museum houses the first purpose built caravan, The Wanderer, built in 1880 for The Club's eventual first vice-president; the Bristol Jupiter aero engine, cars, buses, lorries and a replica of Concorde's flight deck. For families there is the Zoo and the Downs Park, a safe place for young children to play in and an ideal picnic spot.
Access to cycle paths including the Bristol to Bath cycle path. There are also boat trips available. Open top sightseeing bus tours are adjacent to the site - discounted tickets applicable.
