Helvellyn YHA

Helvellyn YHA is situated on the outskirts of Glenridding, 900 feet above sea level, and an excellent base from which to start your ascent of Helvellyn.

The youth hostel has a range of double and triple rooms, alongside 4 and 6 bed dorms. The YHA has a good range of facilities including modern showers, self-catering kitchen, lounge, games room, shop, and cycle store.

The hostel is mainly used by visitors who wish to climb the spectacular Helvellyn, with a variety of walking trails on the hostels doorstep. Helvellyn YHA is situated 2 km from the village of Glenridding, which hosts a range of shops, pubs, tourist information and the Lake Steamers.
