The Rookery

The Rookery is located in the fashionable area of Clerkenwell only a short stroll away from the Barbican, St Paul's, Holborn and The Tate Modern. This delightful small hotel exudes period charm. The polished wood panelling, stone flagged floors, open fires and genuine antique furniture create a warm, homely atmosphere - more private club than hotel.

Each of the 33 air conditioned bedrooms are unique, with space to work and relax amongst the antique furnishings. Even the bathrooms are fitted with lovingly restored, genuine antiques. The bedrooms are all named after people who actually resided in the buildings at some point during the last 250 years.

The Rook's Nest is a two-storey penthouse suite with views over St Paul's and the Old Bailey from its 40ft spire. It houses an ornate bedroom, a Victorian bathing machine and a dog-leg staircase into the extraordinary sitting room under the spire.
