Bradiford Cottage in Barnstaple, North Devon is a family run 17th century cottage located directly opposite Humes Farm Cottages and close to an old mill stream. Our bed and breakfast base is perfectly placed for exploring the Atlantic coast and Exmoor throughout the year. A public footpath can easily be followed directly from the cottage to Blakewell Trout Farm, to the River Taw and the Tarka Trail.
The cottage enjoys a southwest facing aspect with an attractive garden and ample car and cycle parking near the house. It is furnished to a high standard and is fully centrally heated. Downstairs, the sitting room provides a high standard of family comfort and space to relax after a busy day, in front of a log fire on cooler evenings or on the verandah in the summertime
North Devon provides a seemingly endless range of activities: sandy beaches and a wonderful coastline, an abundance of wildlife and magnificent scenery. There are also opportunities to walk, cycle, ride, fish, play golf, surf, sail and canoe; and visit the many well known gardens.
We are on hand to provide advice on whatever you want to see and where to eat nearby. We can also provide free transport from the railway or bus station on your arrival. The mild weather in North Devon means that there is every reason for taking a well-earned break at any time of the year - either bed and breakfast in Bradiford Cottage or in one of our self-catering cottages.
