Highland Hawking Holidays

Highland hawking holidays offer the unique opportunity for beginners to learn all aspects of falconry in a fascinating one week course. You will be staying onsite in a self-catering cottage and you can invite friends or family to stay in cottage for the duration of the course.

The arrival day is a Sat 4 O`clock, you will be picking your bird up on the Sun and training is up till the Friday and as long as is neccesary through the day to achieve what is required for the bird and handler. Your trainer has over 30 years experience in the sport and promises that you are never to old to learn falconry- a great sport which they whole family can enjoy.

Highland hawking holidays is one of the best and most comprehensive courses in the Uk, as well as most cost effective way to learn Falconry. The birds that are used to train with are wild birds. i.e birds that are not already trained as with most other centres. The courses take place all year but to see birds hunting the courses must be from Sept to end March.
