The Dickens Inn sits in the heart of St. Katharine's Dock, a bush commercial, residential and leisure centre. The Dickens is within keeping with the docklands history as it is a former spice warehouse from the 18th century.
The Dickens Inn was renovated in the style of a 19th century balcony two storey inn, featuring European Redwood beams and pillars, antique furniture and maritime relics, creating a warmth and charm.
Today the Dickens Inn attracts a wide range of Londoners and visitors, including families, tourists and business people. The ground floor of the Dickens Inn houses the traditional Tavern Bar and the Copperfield snack bar.
The upper floors contain two restaurants, the top floor Grill on the Dock and Pizza On The Dock, which is open all day and serves pastas and salads as well as pizzas. The Nickleby Suite is their main function room suitable for conferences, banqueting and private functions.
