Whitechapel Market

Whitechapel is a thriving local street market, that has been going on for years, located opposite the famous Royal London Hospital and conveniently close to Whitechapel underground station.

The market offers endless bargains for people working in the area and the local Asian community. Everyday there’s a bargain to be had from over 80 stalls selling everything from fresh fruit to fish, clothing to carpets, jewellery to electrical goods, all at unbelievable prices.

The market attracts a lot of visitors from the nearby East London Mosque and as a consequence many stalls now sell Indian spices and exotic vegetables as well as an extensive array of fine quality silks and colourful saree fabrics.
