In January 2006 the Prince's Trust in Pembrokeshire established a working relationship with Pembrokeshire Watersports to create one of the largest multi functional activity centres in the UK.

The new Centre at Cleddau Reach, Pembroke Dock is a truly fantastic venue - a £2.5m accommodation and activity centre with around £500k of equipment and up to 30 specialists well qualified instructors working at peak periods. Open throughout the year and busy from mid January through to mid November, the centre offers a huge range of activities to young people.

With specialist support for visiting teams, schools and groups, the centre holds one of the largest Trust staff teams in the UK who deliver programmes tailored to your specific requirements.

Further Information
Facilities Based in the modern, purpose built wet side teaching unit you will have direct all-tides access to the Cleddau Waterway and the use of: • Large modern training fleet and associated equipment • Extensive changing and showering facilities • Indoor climbing wall • Wheelchair access throughout including specialised changing rooms, lift and ramps • Dining area and cafe with balcony looking out over the river • Common rooms with optional TV and tea & coffee making facilities • Floodlit 'kick about' play area
Getting There
The centre is situated on the very edge of the Cleddau River, Pembrokeshire's secret waterway, where the river enters the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The slipways enter the water at the mouth of Cosheston Pill, a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest. Only a couple of minutes away from the main A477 although you won't know it while you're here; Pembroke Dock railway station is just a mile away, and barely two from the Irish Ferry port and only 40 miles from the M4. The large free car park means that coaches are no problem and, with three slipways, neither is getting on the water at any time during the day.
