Named after Samuel Jackson, a notorious smuggler who once lived here, Slippery Sam's dates from around 1450 and is a Grade II listed building. There is an 18th Century barn on the property, which has been converted into two holiday cottages. The two properties can be connected to make one large unit.

Smuggler's Rest is a sizeable property with 4 bedrooms (3 x double, 1 x twin) and a bathroom on the 1st floor. On the ground floor is a large kitchen, cloakroom, lounge/diner, a second bathroom and a separate wc.
