Welcome to the Cat in the Hat Restaurant, in St Leonard's, Exeter. Opened in 2002, by Shayne and Louise Bowers, the restaurant has a reputation for providing high quality food and wine, and excellent service. Now owned and run by Phil Picton, Shirley Hughes, and

Wendy Watson, who intend to retain the high standards of hospitality, and focus on fine dining, Westcountry produce, and fine wines. The relaxed and contemporary (air conditioned) interior provides a refuge from the busy city, perfect for an intimate dinner, a family celebration or a business meeting.

The restaurant is divided into three dining areas, the bar area, seating 8, a mezzanine level, seating 16, and the conservatory, seating 12. We are available for group and party bookings, with a limit of 36 guests.
