The Phoenix Canterbury

Probably Canterbury's finest Real Ale Pub, The Phoenix offers warm friendly hospitality, good value home cooked food, available every day and a range of real ales, lagers, cider, wines and spirits.

The Phoenix has been described as "a Mecca for the Real Ale lover" by Canterbury Branch of The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) and has six hand pumps, three of which serve regular Ales. The other three serve "guest" beers often from breweries unusual in the City of Canterbury.

Conveniently situated on the Old Dover Road just outside Canterbury City Centre and only a few minutes walk from Kent County Cricket Ground and Canterbury East Railway Station, the Phoenix also offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation and has its own car park for guests. Opening hours are all day Monday to Saturday but on Sunday closes between 4pm and 7pm
