Situated in Canterbury, The Two Sawyers is an authentic example of a 17th century public house. As you cross the threshold of the Two Sawyers, there is a feeling of familiarity and ease. The room is dimly lit, accented by the flickering candlelight glowing from the wax ladened bottles on each table. The brick walls, burdened by the tales of bygone days, host photographs and artefacts that invite curiosity and imagination. Faded antique books reside in the corner, worn by time and fingertips.
Behind the bar, a lovely barmaid beckons with a friendly smile and a warm greeting. Peruse the variety of lagers and real ales as another song you know all the words to accents the mood. The pub menu hosts a range of hearty traditional English fare as well as some new additions with a Portuguese flavour.
