The Red Lion

Situated in Wingham, The Red Lion a 13th Century Inn, mentioned in the Doomsday Book as one of the Archibishop of Canterbury's Manors, is an ideal base from which to explore the Kentish countryside and its historic towns.

It lies close to both Canterbury and Sandwich with easy access to Europe from Dover or the Channel Tunnel.

The bar is warm and atmospheric offering real ales and a selection of Old and New World wines by the glass or bottle.
