Officially opened in October 2002 by the Lord Mayor of Canterbury Cllr Mary Jeffries, The Ancient Raj provides the finest Indian cuisine and Indian hospitality in a relaxing and spacious historic setting.

Set in a partially restored 15th Century Grade II listed building; The Ancient Raj is a fully licensed, air-conditioned restaurant. The spacious dining area and galleried lounge means you can dine and relax in comfort.

The Restaurant has it's own Car Park with 20 spaces. You can also park at either Miller's Field or North Lane Car Parks, both less than a minute's walk.
