The Igloo is located in the heart of Nottingham and is by far the coolest stopover for backpackers, students and sports groups seeking rest and recuperation in a warm, clean, safe and easy-going home-from-home.

This independent hostel is run by helpful and experienced backpackers and found in a Victorian house surrounded by shops, pubs, eat-ins and take-outs, as well as all the major Nottingham attractions.

The Hostel is open all day and all year. There are no chores or heavy rules - just a chance to meet some friendly people and get a good night's sleep at the end of an active day.

Further Information: There is plenty of agency work in bars, warehouses, factories and offices in Nottingham and roundabout. Backpackers interested in working should ask the Igloo's staff for a work information sheet when they arrive at the hostel. This has all the details about registering with employment agencies and getting a N.I. number, when they arrive at the hostel. Ask for weekly rates, too.
