Heron Lodge offers luxury self-catering holiday accommodation set in peaceful and tranquil countryside. The cottage is located one mile from Beeswing village and five miles from Dumfries in South West Scotland.

The holiday accommodation sleeps four people in luxury and style and provides everything you need for a restful self-catering holiday. There is one double bedroom and one twin bedroom and a comfortable living room with TV, video and DVD player and CD/Radio. The verandah has outdoor furniture for al-fresco dining and panoramic views of the Mabie Forest which can be accessed from the lodge.

Heron Lodge is the perfect base for a relaxing countryside break, either to explore historical places of interest or enjoy outdoor activites such as birdwatching, cycling, fishing, golf, horse riding or hiking.

Site access to Mabie Forest and 7 Staines Mountain Bike tracks. Towerwood Gold Floodlit Drving Range 2 miles away. Loch Arthur Organic farm shop - 1 mile away in Beeswing.

Please Note: Prices are fully inclusive of bedding /electric / use of Gas bbq and exit clean...... Clients only need to bring with them towels /pot towel and some 1 coins if Heating required (Heating by meter).

We have stayed here twice.......we love it and able to take our pet dog. Dog walk area up into Mabie Forest on site.... Quite and peaceful with breath taking views of Mabie Forest and surrounding countryside ... Read More (Date of experience: Jan, 2010 )
