Manchester Craft & Design Centre is situated in the bohemian northern quarter of the city centre.
The craft and design centre is set in an old Victorian cast iron and glass building, hosting a range of workshops and two floors of ceramics, textiles, jewellery, sculpture and carved wooden artefacts by contemporary craft workers and artists.
The craft and design centre has a relaxed atmosphere where visitors can enjoy a light snack in the café/restaurant whilst browsing the artists work.
