Greenwood is a community Forest with a wide variety of things to do and places to visit - from the hectic and action-packed to the quiet and leisurely, there's something for everyone. Greenwood covers 161 square miles of west Nottinghamshire from Mansfield in the north to Nottingham in the south and from Eastwood in the west to Farnsfield in the east. It joins historic Sherwood Forest in the Northeast and curves round to Attenborough in the southwest

There are a number of various trails and hikes throughout the woodland. The trails vary from simple to more advanced hikes and many of these trails offer spectacular views.

Whatever your choice there are plenty of activities, cycle paths and bridleways to help you explore the beautiful and scenic countryside in Greenwood.
