Tours: The Emeraldene is a booking agent for all major tour operators, and can give you advice on the best tours and prices available. Transfers to and from the Emeraldene are complimentary for most tours. Check the website for tour and accommodation packages. Extra parking is available and guests may leave their vehicles free of charge in the secure surrounds for no charge whilst they are away on 2 or 3 day tours. Tours and things to do - Fraser Island, Lady Elliot Island, fishing trips, joy flights, parachuting, horse riding, diving, boat cruises and more. August to November see the humpbacks up close - magnificent!
Getting There: The Emeraldene Inn and Eco-Lodge is the first accommodation reached as you enter Hervey Bay the way in from Maryborough. The airport is only a 10-15 minute drive, and the major shopping district a few minutes away. From Maryborough : Turn right off Maryborough Road into Urraween Road, the first major cross section near the Tourist Information Centre. The Emeraldene Inn is approx 500m on the right. From Town : Head west on Main Street, then right onto Urraween Road. The Emeraldene Inn is approx 700m on the left. From the Airport : The easiest option is to take the shuttle bus, which will drop you at our door. By road, turn left onto Boat Harbour Drive, then left onto Main Street, Then right onto Urraween Road.
