Martha's cottage was built in 1740 and is situated in a quiet lane, on the southern slopes of the Ironbridge Gorge. The cottage has private parking and the museums are within a two-mile radius.
The cottage has an Oak-beamed living and dining room and newly fitted kitchen on the ground floor, with two elegantly appointed bedrooms (one double and one twin bedded) and a bathroom above. The kitchen has a gas hob, fan assisted electric oven, a combination microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer, fridge, kettle, toaster and a full range of crockery and utensils. Bed linen, towels, gas and electricity are provided with no extra charge. The terraced garden across the lane from the cottage has beautiful views across the wooded slopes of the gorge. There is a small summerhouse with garden furniture for outdoor snacks & picnics.
Daily provisions are available from the newsagents/general store in the village. Ironbridge has an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants to cater for all tastes.
