Up until 1968 Coalport Station was served by the line running from Shrewsbury to Bridgnorth, now home to the Severn Valley Steam Railway. This lovely spot is nestled in the dip of the historic Gorge, only yards from the river itself surrounded by trees and away from any bustle. Just five minute's walk away are warm and welcoming pubs, with gardens by the river, serving meals and traditional ales all day every day.
The lounge contains a large plasma screen TV receiving terrestrial and satellite channels, a DVD/CD player and a video recorder and player. There is a large L-shaped sofa with scatter cushions which seats 6 in comfort an occasional table with 2 drawers underneath with board games. The kitchen area is fitted with the latest Bosch range of appliances including refrigerator with freezer compartment, fully automated clothes washer and full dryer. Dishwasher, double fan-assisted oven with separate touch control ceramic hobs. The bedroom has a standard 3ft wide and a 2ft 6" wide bed.
