The Owl's House is an attractive holiday cottage set in the heart of the Shropshire countryside. The property has been renovated to a superior quality and it offers an idyllic location to relax and unwind. The Cottage is two miles from the centre of Much Wenlock and is completely separate from the main house with its own herb garden and patio area. The cottage sits amongst woodland with a view for miles over the Wenlock Edge, Long Mynd and Wrekin.

Attention to detail has been paramount in the renovation, including excellent fabrics and upholstery, oak flooring in the lounge and kitchen area, handmade solid oak kitchen and antique pine furniture throughout. There is also Yorkshire stone patio for evening barbecues and sun-loungers for those hot summer evenings.

There are a number of different walks available starting from right outside the house through streams, woodlands and fields. The countryside is unspoilt and peaceful except for the cacophony of wild birds and rustling trees.

Getting There: Leave M54 at junction 6 and take 1st exit on A5223 towards Ironbridge and Much Wenlock. Go over 3 roundabouts on this road following signs to Much Wenlock and Ironbridge. At the 4th roundabout take 3rd exit towards Much Wenlock on A4169. At the bottom of the hill turn sharp left still following A4169. Continue for approximately 3 miles. Before reaching Much Wenlock take the first sign posted road right towards Sheinton and Cressage. Penkridge Cottage is exactly 1 mile from this point and 3rd house on the right.
Local Area: The beautiful "black & white" town of Much Wenlock has much to offer throughout the year including shops, restaurants & pubs with great food. It was also the home of Dr William Penny Brookes, one of the most influential pioneers of the modern day Olympic Games and you will find many Olympian related artefacts in the local museum and around the town. The spectacular ruins of Wenlock Priory (English Heritage) are located a short walk from the town square.
