Old Wynd Cottage is a perfect place to stay while visiting Shropshire. The property retains many original features such as oak beams and cast iron window frames. The Cottage overlooks woodland and fields and is surrounded by its own garden and grounds amounting to nearly half an acre. There is plenty of space to relax, enjoy a barbeque or, for the young at heart, kick a ball about.
The cottage contains a comfortable living room with settee, two arm chairs, television with video and DVD player. The inglenook fireplace provides heat and makes the focal point of the room. The dining kitchen is modern and well equipped with washer/drier, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The half tiled bathroom has a modern suite and heated towel rail. The main bedroom has a comfortable double bed with wardrobe and dressing table. One of the unique features of the cottage is the very private rear garden with access only from this main bedroom. The second bedroom has two single beds and a wardrobe. There is a second bathroom with w.c., washbasin and bath with shower over.
With its stately homes, vibrant market towns, sleepy villages and unique landscape, Shropshire has a wealth of attractions. Visitors can enjoy the Ironbridge Gorge with its famous bridge and industrial heritage, and step back in time by visiting the award winning museums and recreated Victorian Town. Excellent pubs and restaurants are also close by.
