Dalí Universe located inside the County Hall is a permanent exhibition devoted entirely to the works of Salvador Dalí. Step into a weird and wonderful surreal fantasyland of melting clocks and anthropomorphic sculpture and gain an insight into the life of the greatest surrealist, self-publicist and creative genius of the 20th century.
The exhibition unravels the master's mind with precision and creativity and his enigmatic character exudes from every piece, as you wander through the display of more than 500 of his works, which incorporate the world's most comprehensive display of Dalí sculptures dating from 1935-1984.
The huge painting created by Dalí for Alfred Hitchcock's Spellbound is on display, as well as four of Dalí's dramatic 20 ft monumental sculptures, such as the long-legged Space Elephant and the acclaimed dripping watch Nobility of Time, are sited along the riverside walkway.
