Aberdeen Maritime Museum

This award-winning museum houses a unique collection which tells the story of Aberdeen city's long relationship with the Sea. Aberdeen Maritime Museum is situated on the historic Shiprow, and offers outstanding views over the busy harbour.

The Museum covers shipbuilding, fast sailing ships, fishing and port history, and is the only place in the UK where you can see displays on the North Sea oil industry. Visitors can discover what it is like to live and work on a massive oil platform in the middle of the sea. Using models, real equipment and computer displays, the exhibitions bring the North Sea experience to life.

Aberdeen Maritime Museum is fully accessible to visitors with disabilities, and admission is free.
