Every macadamia nut used in the Brookfarm's Gourmet Macadamia product range is grown on our own farm, about 5 minutes from Byron Bay in Sub tropical Northern New South Wales. The farm operates on the principles of sustainable agricultural practices. A balance is being created between the macadamia orchard and substantial rainforest and eucalypt forests.

Special Features: Australian Macadamia oil is widely regarded as the healthiest edible oil in the world and is higher in monunsaturates, (83%) the goods fats, than extra Virgin Olive oil, important in lowering blood cholesterol. The oil can be cooked at very high temperatures 220C and it doesn't lose any of its subtle nutty taste and important health characteristics. It also has the most balanced ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6 fatty acids of any oils. Macadamia oil contains no trans fatty acids. All the oils are cholesterol free
