The Birmingham Hippodrome is a theatre in the Chinese Quarter, situated on Hurst Street in Birmingham. Although most famous as the home stage of the Birmingham Royal Ballet, it also hosts a wide variety of other performances including visiting opera and ballet companies, touring West End shows, pantomime and drama.

The theatre contains an excellent restaurant, situated on level three of the theatre foyer, is the perfect venue for a matinée lunch or an evening dinner. Come a little earlier, meet up with friends and relax over good food and a chance to browse through the programme.

Besides excellent performances, the theatre provides educational workshops, Hospitality Packages and corporate and conference facilities. This intimate venue is perfect for those wishing to explore the delights of theatre, as well as enjoying the wonderful atmosphere within.

Getting There: From The M6 From the Junction 6 of the M6 follow the signs for Birmingham Central. Follow the A38 (M) for 2 miles (signs for the city centre) At the end of the motorway, take the flyover signed M5 South West. Coming off the flyover, pass under the tunnel following signs for Inner Ring Road South. Take the next tunnel (Queensway). Follow signs for Bromsgrove A38 which takes you to a third underpass. On surfacing get in the left hand lane and turn first left (Bromsgrove Street), go straight ahead and Arcadian Centre Parking is just on your left.
