These 10 acre walled gardens contain over 600 species of plants. It is a rare example of formal English garden design and is being restored as near as possible to the period 1680 - 1740.
Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens were developed by several generations of the Bridgeman Family (later to become the Earls of Bradford) reaching peaks of excellence around 1740 and 1900. The Gardens fell into decline during the second half of the twentieth century until they were rescued by the Trust in 1985.
The Gardens contain a number of facilities that include a gift shop and coffee shop that serves drinks and light refreshments, ample free car parking and guided tours are included in the admission price. Dogs are permitted in the garden if under control on a short lead. There is plenty of room to exercise your dog in the Parkland adjacent to the Car Park
