Fraserburgh Heritage Centre is an award winning museum which illustrates the history of Fraserburgh and its people.

The visitor centre takes you on a journey through time showing how Fraserburgh town grew from a "mere creek" to become in its heyday, Scotland's premier herring port.

Fraserburgh Heritage Centre has a wealth of displays to interest all such as the last operational Emergency Life Apparatus Cart in Britain which was originally drawn by men in harness across the sands to the vessel in distress. The Centre offers activities for all the family including 20 hands-on activities for children.

Opening Times
The Centre is open from April 1st until Oct 31st. 11am - 5pm Mon. - Sat. and 1pm - 5pm Sunday. Day and evening group tours by arrangement. Free parking for cars and buses. Wheelchair access and loan.
