This rural campsite lies in the shadow of an old chapel and is convenient for the motorways (M1, M6 and M42), Birmingham and the National Exhibition Centre.
The site has many facilities that include toilet blocks with private cubicles and laundry facilities and you will also discover a vegetable preparation/dishwashing area, Motor van waste discharge point and Calor gas bottles are available. There is also a Playground equipped with play frame & storage pitches available. TV signal is good although booster system is available. Nearby are shops (1m) and public transport is available.
The site is marvellous for those with an interest in the industrial heritage of Birmingham and its surrounds, for there are stacks of fascinating museums. The Transport Museum (open weekends, Bank Holidays Easter-October) is adjacent to the site and Becketts Farm Shop with restaurant is just a ten-minute walk away. The site is also in close proximity to the NEC (only nine miles away), which makes it a handy base for exhibitions such as the Caravan and Boat Show and the biennial Motor Show.
