The Metro Ski & Snowboard Show

The Metro Ski and Snowboard Show takes place in Olympia Grand from 18th-22nd October 2006. Get a unique insight into ski resorts all across the globe at the World Resorts Village or scale the 8m ice climbing wall, made of real ice for free.

New to the show this year is the Trespass Quarter Pipe where the worlds' pros will drop 20ft into an unforgiving pipe to perform gravity defying twists, turns and ten - eighty's. Get practical and life saving tips from the experts at Ford Mountain Theatre.

Snowboarding and skiing lessons are available throughout the show, on the Dare2be skills slope, which is twice as big as last year. Learn how to get fit for the slopes at the Men's Health and Zest Fitness Zone or see what to wear this season at the Brand Arena and Fashion Show.

The show has been made as child friendly as possible this year, with free entry for under 14 yr olds (must be accompanied by an adult) and a crèche service for 2-7 yr olds operates from 11am to 6pm on Weekdays and 10am to 6pm on Weekends.
