Castewellan Forest Park

The forest offers extensive facilities for the caravan or camping enthusiast. There are modern toilets and showers, together with a fresh water supply, chemical toilet disposal point and electricity hook up for caravans.

There are many things to do and see in the Forest, the largest stretch of water in the Forest Park is Castlewellan Lake, nearly one mile in length and covering about 40ha. It offers a host of water sport activities. There are many trails for the enthusiastic walker, all taking in the fantastic scenery within the park.
