St Matthew's Church

Welcome to St Matthew's Church, nestled alongside the River Thames in the heart of London, attracting people from all walks of life, with diverse backgrounds and age ranges, who are connected by their common faith in Jesus Christ.

The church is a modern building built in 2000 to replace a former building that fell into disrepair, however it features some of the original stained glass from the old church. The church is in a vibrant area of Fulham and this is reflected in the lively congregation.

The Sunday service is held at 10:00am from all ages with a crèche facility and young people's groups and the evening service takes place at 18.30. The morning service has Holy Communion once a month and the evening service tends to be more reflective than the morning, and has Communion twice a month.

The church is very community minded and runs a range of activities that include, home groups during the evening and day, children and young people's groups, the men's group meets monthly and has a yearly outing, a monthly mums and tots group, young adult fellowship, baby massage, night shelter for the homeless, tradecraft stall and occasionally friendly sports games and day trips.
