Buchan Hotelis situated in Ellon close to the River Ythan and is ideally located for many golf courses, including the famous Royal Aberdeen, Cruden Bay Golf Course, Meldrum House Golf Course, Newburgh Golf Club and Ellon's own MacDonald Golf Club.

The accommodation consists of 19 tastefully decorated non-smoking bedrooms some of which overlook the River Ythan and surrounding area. All bedrooms have en suite facilities, direct dial telephone, tea making facilities and television.

Can only comment on food and it was appauling. Veg served with rotten bits, manky chips, mixed grill - couldn't chew liver and sauages tasted sour. Would not recommend. Complained to manager who did apologies eventually but didn't really care and said there was nothing he could do about it - finally took 10 off 60 food bill ... Read More
