The Old Market Hall is a Film & Digital Media Centre that is part of the 'Music Hall', an exciting arts centre for Shrewsbury. The Old Market Hall combines Shrewsbury's history, its people and its future with a blend of classic Elizabethan architecture and cutting edge contemporary design.

A range of exciting opportunities awaits in the centre. You may obtain a different view of the world with the cultural cinema programme screening films from all over the globe. Guests can view work from local, national and international artists working in digital media, or through the MediaMaker programme, explore digital media and the possibilities it presents.

The centre also invites guests to relax, enjoy a refreshing drink and simply marvel at this beautiful building. The Old Market Hall is home to a stylish café bar that is the perfect place to relax, socialise and enjoy the splendour of this beautiful building. Open from 10am daily until late the café bar serves quality teas and coffees, fine wines, offers a fully licensed bar and has a delicious selection of sandwiches, cakes, pastries and snacks.

Getting There: Follow the road at the top of Wyle Cop onto High Street; you'll notice the road becomes cobbled. The Square is located on your left after Rackhams and opposite Waterstones bookshop. The Old Market Hall is situated in the centre of the Square. For further car parks follow High Street past the Square where it turns left, continue until you reach a junction at the end of the road. At this junction turn right and follow the parking signs (There are several car parks situated in this area).
Info for Disabled: With advance notice the centre can accommodate up to three wheelchairs. There are three optional spaces that can be booked up to 24 hours before the screening commences, subject to availability.
