Shropshire Wildlife Trust's 37 nature reserves cover a huge range of habitats all over the county, including Woods, flower-rich grassland, glorious heather hills and wetlands ringing with birds.
All nature reserves are managed to maximise their potential for a diversity of wildlife species. The Reserves Officer takes groups of volunteers all over the county to carry out tasks ranging from hedge laying to footpath construction.
The organization offer young people opportunities to learn by experiencing Shropshire's wildlife and wild places first hand. By helping them gain knowledge and skills to understand and care for the natural world, it is hoped that children will see a thriving environment that is good for wildlife and good for people.
