Ilkley Golf Club

One of the most picturesque golf clubs in the country, Ilkley Golf Club is nestled in the beautiful Wharfe Valley with the famous Moor as a backdrop. However golfers must not be fooled by its beauty, as the River Wharfe is an ever-present threat for the first seven holes of this tree-lined course.

The course is where seven times top European money earner Colin Montgomerie learnt his golf. And it also boasts former Ryder Cup captain Mark James as an honorary life member.

The Clubhouse, which is situated overlooking the eighteenth, has wonderful views of the course and the famous Ilkley Moor. Many have said that there is not a finer view in the world. The club has a nineteenth bar, lounge bar and ladies lounge and the main dining room can seat up to 80 people.
