Manorbier Castle

Manorbier Castle is a fortified manor overlooking a beach, built on land that was granted to the Norman knight Odo de Barri at the end of the 11th century. For over 250 years the De Barri family owned Manorbier and their Irish estates gave them enough income to develop their home here.

The historic castle is bought magically to life with life size wax figures and enchanting, atmospheric music that takes you back through time. Walk around the beautiful and enchanting garden that is nestled in the castles walls and admire this fantastic piece of history.

Manorbier Castle also offers unique accommodation in a pretty house within the walls of the castle. The house accommodates 10-12 people and benefits from its own walled garden. There is also a fabulous chalet situated in the garden, which sleeps two and has its own shower facilities.
