Wyken is a beautiful country estate that once belonged to the Romans. The property contains a wealth of attractions including an exquisite vineyard, beautifully maintained gardens, and a superb restaurant and shop, the Leaping Hare.
The seven acre vineyard produced its first vintage in 1991 and in 1992 the Bacchus was the English vineyard association winner. Numerous white varieties are produced within the vineyard and all may be sampled within the Leaping Hare restaurant.
The Leaping Hare resides within a charming 400-year-old barn. The blend of history and art accompanies excellent British cuisine, made with the finest local produce. With a seasonal menu and an array of excellent wines, you will have a dining experience to remember.
