Getting There: Peppin Point is located 10km around the lake from Bonnie Doon, apx 140km North East of Melbourne city. Mansfield is 150km. An easy 2 hour scenic drive. 1. Travel from Melb city, via Whittlesea, Yea, Bonnie Doon then Mansfield. Or 2. Travel via Maroondah Highway to Alexandra, then Yarck and continue on. Or 3. Travel on Maroondah Highway, via Melba Highway at Yarra Glen to Yea, follow the signs to Mt Buller, passing Bonnie Doon and Mansfield along the way.
Info for Disabled: Peppin Point now has a fully accessible bathroom. Wide gate entrance and low ramp access. We have especially fitted out a double bedroom especially for your needs. Estensive outdoor undercover decking area while you admire the lake & mountain views. Magpies, rosellas all come to feed while the kangaroos graze in the paddock.
